Is your Hurricane Stella smartphone:

  1. Hanging on the logo (bootloop)?
  2. Restarting
  3. Infected by virus, malware or adware forcing it to download malware apps by itself
  4. Cashing entirely or some apps stops working?

Well you can start off with a hard reset from the settings menu or via recovery for some of the above case but for others like malware and bootloop, you may need to have its rom or firmware reloaded afresh. On the answer section below is a step by step guide on how to can do just that.

Also, if you are just resetting a triggered FRP for which's previously synced Google Account credentials are lost or forgotten, then you can use these accordingly instead. They are small pac files compiled specifically to assist with FRP resetting:

Please do note that the tutorial below should work for the Hurricane Link and Hurricane Sage smartphones as well. Below is the ROM or firmware flashing guide:

  1. The ROM or firmware pack is available here:
  2. Download the SPD_Reseach_Tool R21 from here:!YHYCACCD!W87ZfXeYmyhaAR3An2yUyTfKsY-7pu3Z1t-Sc-jfmlA and extract it
  3. Install the Spreadtrum drivers using the links on the comment below this tutorial answer (Provided you do not already have them installed)
  4. Then open up the extracted SPD_Research_Tool_R21 folder twice > then double-click the file with a black chip and two green arrows icon
  5. With the flasher loaded > click on the gear icon on the far left > browse to and load the Hurricane Stella.pac firmware file by double clicking on it - it can take up to a minute or two
  6. Click on the two gear icon > untick NV_W > click OK
  7. Then click the Play like icon (Start Downloading)
  8. Remove and replace the battery - then connect the Hurricane Stella table with volume down held down
  9. The downloading should start with a blue bar - at which stage you can release the volume down key > different partitioned will be flashed and you get a green 'Passed' when all is done
  10. At which stage click the Stop icon (Square)
  11. Disconnect and power up the device - remove and replace the battery and then power it on as normal
  12. It can take a little longer to boot up after a flash (no more than 5 minutes though) - Else you can boot to recovery and wipe userdata
